South Asians have varying degrees of
Caucasoid and Australoid ancestry, and actors in Bollywood tend to come from regions and castes with more of the former. They also use
plastic surgery and skin bleaching, not just to look younger and more attractive for the screen, but as part of a growing trend in India to
appear more Caucasoid. The difference in phenotype between "enhanced" Bollywood stars and ordinary Indians is visible in these facial composites:

How sad is it? I have received a reply from an Indian girl, DHONl, on a video about an adv of those Indian bleaching creams. She told me that actually Indians are just tanned because of the weather and that the bleach just helps them not to get too much tanning. How sad is it, not accepting what you really are?
Here is her reply to Orlay White Beauty Cream:
"I'm Indian . And I have used these creams before (lol)
But we dont use it too whiten our skin (like michael jackson). These creams help remove TAN.
In India its toooo hot (50 degree celcius) and ur skin darkens,...
These creams make ur skin dry and fair
And they don't have any side effects (these creams are not very powerful so even a 10 year old can use it)"
I do think that this is due to ignorance and a huge lack of education.
The Arabs use it too. I've live one year in London, and I have seen loads of Muslim girls with such pale faces that it seemed they had never met the day light! Do believe me: they scare the hell out of you. Obviously they also wear blue and green lenses. How sad are they?
It would be interesting to see Arabs DNA. They claim of still being Mediterranean but it appears they've mixed with SubSahara Africans, see Ruby Heyek for instance. She's North African but she looks biracial. Obviously Arabs are not completely Caucasoid anymore.
There seem to be a lot of Indian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese actors vs non-actors comparisons around. You should make an attempt with West Eurasian populations.
